IRØLG è un nominativo speciale appositamente voluto per le celebrazioni dell'Anniversario dell’ultimo attacco alleato alla Linea Gustav, nella notte del 11 maggio 1944.
Questa linea difensiva tedesca, tagliava a metà l’Italia e correva da Minturno, sul Tirreno, sino ad Ortona, sull’Adriatico; uno dei capisaldi era rappresentato da Cassino e dal massiccio dove si trova l’Abbazia di Montecassino.
Il primo sfondamento avvenne sulle montagne tra Vallemaio e Castelforte.

Un diploma speciale a commemorazione del 70 anniversario nel 2014, sarà rilasciato a tutti coloro che dimostreranno di aver contattato la stazione speciale ogni anno a partire dal 2011 al 2014.

IRØLG was a special call that will celebrate the Anniversary of the last allied attack on the Gustav Line, on the night of May 11, 1944.
The German defensive line cut in half and ran from Italy on the Tyrrhenian Sea, Minturno, up to Ortona, on the Adriatic Sea; was represented by one of the stronghold of Cassino and the mountwhere there is the Abbey of Montecassino.
The first breakthrough was in the mountains between Vallemaio and Castelforte.

A Special Award,to commemorate the seventieth anniversaryin 2014, will be issued to those who have shown that they have contacted the special station each year between now and year 2014.
